The MAST Scheme of Delegation sets out how responsibility and decision-making are distributed across the Trust.

It explains the respective roles and responsibilities of Members, the Board of Trustees, Board committees, Local Governing Bodies, the Chief Executive Officer and other senior leaders.

The Scheme of Delegation is designed to ensure that there is clarity about who is responsible for what, while maintaining effective oversight, accountability and appropriate local decision-making across our schools.

It should be read alongside the Trust’s Articles of Association, Funding Agreements, committee Terms of Reference and other governance documents.
