    The MAST Centre Team is a highly effective resource that supports our schools across a range of key operational and strategic areas, including Finance, Human Resources, Estates and Procurement.

    By centralising expertise and resources, the Centre Team delivers value for money, ensures strong governance and compliance, and promotes collaboration and continuous improvement across the Trust.

    Estates and Buildings Lead

    Gerry Simmons is the Estates and Buildings Lead at the Medway Anglican Schools Trust. She oversees the strategic management, maintenance, and development of the Trust’s estates, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality learning environments across all schools.

    Gerry Simmons is the Estates and Buildings Lead at the Medway Anglican Schools Trust, where she is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of the Trust’s estate. She ensures that school buildings and grounds are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and fit for purpose to support high-quality education.

    Gerry brings extensive experience in estates management, facilities oversight, and capital project delivery. She works closely with school leaders and the executive team to plan and prioritise maintenance, refurbishment, and development projects that align with the Trust’s strategic growth and improvement plans.

    Her responsibilities include health and safety compliance, statutory testing, capital works planning, condition improvement funding (CIF) bids, risk management, and contractor oversight. Gerry ensures that robust systems are in place to maintain compliance and minimise disruption to learning.

    She is committed to creating safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environments where pupils and staff can thrive. Through proactive planning and effective project management, Gerry supports the Trust in maintaining sustainable, high-quality learning spaces that meet the needs of both current and future generations.
