Abdul Juned is the Chief Financial Officer at the Medway Anglican Schools Trust, where he provides strategic leadership for the Trust’s financial management, resource planning, and operational sustainability. He is responsible for ensuring that financial systems are robust, transparent, and aligned with the Trust’s strategic priorities.
Abdul brings extensive experience in financial leadership within the education sector, with a strong track record of supporting organisational growth, maintaining financial compliance, and delivering value for money. He works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, executive team, and school leaders to ensure that financial planning supports school improvement and long-term sustainability.
His responsibilities include overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, audit, risk management, procurement, and regulatory compliance. He ensures that schools are well-supported with clear financial guidance and effective systems that enable leaders to make informed decisions.
Abdul is committed to ensuring that resources are used efficiently and responsibly to maximise their impact on pupils’ education and wellbeing. His work plays a key role in supporting the Trust’s continued growth and ensuring that schools are financially secure, well-managed, and able to deliver excellent outcomes for their communities.
