We currently work with eight schools across Kent and Medway, alongside a number of associate schools that work closely with MAST through partnership, collaboration and shared support.

Our schools serve a wide range of communities and vary significantly in size, context, demographics and character. Some have experienced significant challenges in the past and have made substantial improvements over time. This diversity is one of the strengths of MAST, creating opportunities for schools to learn from one another, share expertise and benefit from a breadth of experience across the wider family.

For schools that are formal members of MAST, we combine strong Trust-wide alignment with a clear commitment to protecting the identity of each individual school. We work closely together across educational improvement, inclusion, safeguarding, governance, finance, people, estates and wider operational services, enabling schools to benefit from shared systems, expertise and collective capacity.

At the same time, every school remains rooted in its own community. We recognise and celebrate the history, character and values of each school and, where applicable, its distinctive Christian foundation and ethos.

Our associate schools remain legally independent from MAST but work alongside the Trust in a spirit of partnership. This may include access to professional networks, leadership support, school improvement expertise, shared professional development and opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the wider MAST family. Associate relationships also provide schools with an opportunity to understand more fully what working with MAST looks and feels like before making any longer-term decisions about their future.

Across the schools we work with, we have seen sustained improvement in academic outcomes alongside positive external evaluation from Ofsted and SIAMS. While our work is never driven solely by external measures, we are always pleased when the commitment of pupils, staff, leaders and governors is recognised.

Above all, we are proud of the schools we serve and support. Whether a school is a formal member of the Trust or working with us as an associate, our ambition is the same: to help every school strengthen its provision, serve its community well and create the conditions in which children and adults can belong, be safe and flourish.
